We need to print a report for the head of housekeeping
to estimate how many housekeepers are required on any given day, not just the current day. The form does not need personal info like customer name and room pricing.
The current form has name and pricing info on it and does not allow you to choose a date other than today's audit date.
We need to estimate how many checkouts are for next weekend, so we can schedule extra staff if required for heavy checkout days. It is hard staffing cleaners for the weekends.
We could be 100% booked with no checkouts or we could be 100% full with every room checking out. Different staff is needed for complete cleaning instead of daily service.
The report should allow users to input any date when information is needed, not just today's date.
It should have a Room #, room type, Stayover or checkout, Arrival, or empty/vacant number of guests.
We print the form a second time on the actual day of Arrival.
1) to confirm the number of checkouts, stay over, and arrivals
2) We use the form to prioritize which room to choose first (one with arrivals)
3)and to also use this for when the housekeeper finishes a room, they put their initials next to each. So we know who cleaned the rooms and which rooms are complete.
4)temp Staff working on empty rooms do not need to know the names of previous or future guests and how much the room cost.
